Swedish artist Lykke Li has surprise released a new covers EP, titled simply Covers, today via Play It Again Sam. Listen to the new project below.
Lykke Li is back with her first release since her 2022 album EYEYE. The EP features three covers—the legendary “Stand By Me” by Ben E. King, “Into My Arms” by Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, and The Everly Brothers track “Love Hurts.”
Lykke Li, born Li Lykke Timotej Zachrisson, broke onto the scene in 2008 with her debut Youth Novels. Since then, she’s gone on to release four more LPs. Most recently, she released a version of her album EYEYE with reversed playback aptly titled ƎYƎYƎ.
