Mark William Lewis has announced his self-titled album and shared its second single “Still Above.” Mark William Lewis is due out September 12 via A24 Music. Check out the new single, album details, and tour dates below.

Lewis has been releasing solo material since 2022 with two EPs and his debut album Living released in 2023. This will be the first independent artist project released by A24 Music, which has previously released scores and soundtracks such as Alex G’s music for I Saw the TV Glow and a tribute compilation to Talking Heads’ iconic concert film Stop Making Sense, the label’s first release outside their usual realm of film and TV.

Lewis spoke on the new single in a press release: “‘Still Above’ is the morning after an argument. You are trying to remember what happened the night before but the memories are blurry. Part of you wants to repair the emotional wreckage, but another part of you wants to stay in bed and relax into the familiar comforts of conflict.”

Lewis will embark on a EU/UK and North American tour with support from Samba Jean-Baptiste, Jordan Playfair, Ashley Plomer, and Tony Bontana in October.
