Alan Vega of protopunk legends Suicide passed away in his sleep Saturday night. In response MGMT have shared a cover of Alan Vega’s “Goodbye Darling,” which was on Vega’s third solo album, 1983’s Saturn Strip. On Soundcloud MGMT simply wrote “MGMT cover of Alan Vega song in loving memory.” Listen below, followed by the original.
