Last September New Order released Music Complete, their excellent first studio album in a decade, their first for their new label Mute, and the first not to feature founding member Peter Hook (but it sees the return of founding member Gillian Gilbert). Now they have announced some U.S. tour dates, which are below. They have also shared an extended mix of “Singularity,” which is about two minutes longer than the version found on Music Complete and is also below.

“Singularity” will be the next single from the album and will be released with some new remixes of the song. There’s also a special New Order website named “Singularity: The Influence of New Order” which features other artists either writing about New Order, putting together playlists of their favorite New Order songs, or covering New Order. The site currently includes contributions from The Cure’s Robert Smith, author Irvine Welsh, John Grant, La Roux, Trentemøller, and members of Suede, Hot Chip, The Horrors, Goldfrapp, The Charlatans, Chromatics, Algiers, Manic Street Preachers, Happy Mondays, Wild Beasts, Interpol, and others.
