Although the temperatures were scorching (rumored to be the hottest ACL ever), the heat did not stop hundreds and thousands of people from attending Austin City Limits Music Festival for its eighteenth year. The first of two weekends kicked off on Friday, October 4th at Zilker Park with headlining sets from Tame Impala and Guns N’ Roses for day one. The weekend continued with performances by Billie Eilish, The Cure, Childish Gambino, Cardi B to just name a few. Some highlights include Lizzo’s high-energy set and charisma, Kacey Musgraves’ dreamy performance during golden hour, and Tame Impala’s beautiful visuals that perfectly complemented their music - all which created an unforgettable weekend. With one week in-between, weekend two will take place this Friday, October 11th with predicted cool weathers and a guaranteed good time.
