Peter Bjorn and John’s Peter Morén to Release Solo EP Series
First Installment Broken Swenglish Vol. 1 Out Dec. 9
Nov 26, 2013 Peter Bjorn and John
Peter Morén of Peter Bjorn and John has announced that he will release a series of solo EPs on INGRID. The first in the series, Broken Swenglish Vol. 1, is scheduled to come out Dec. 9, and will be Morén’s first solo release in the U.S. since his 2008 full-length The Last Tycoon. The EP series is actually Morén’s attempt to translate his solo Swedish language albums - 2010’s I spåren av tåren and 2012’s Pyramiden - for a English speaking audience, selecting several songs from the LPs and recording English language versions of the material. Broken Swenglish Vol. 1 will feature “Say My Name” (”Säg mitt namn” from Pyramiden), “To Catch Up With You” (”Att komma ikapp” from I spåren av tåren), “Going Places” (”Erik M. Nilsson” from Pyramiden) and “Constant Reaction” (”Orsak & Verkan” from Pyramiden).
