Cirkl make dreamy soundcapes and dig Goat, Amen Dunes, and Shabazz Palaces. Check out the Estonian/Swedish duo’s mixtape below.

“I picked out these songs because every single one of them has IT—meaning that I can imagine myself running around in an imaginary landscape while shouting, ‘Yes, yes, yes!’ and also because I think this variety of styles kind of sums up my thoughts on how I see my own music,” says band member Liis Ring. “At Tallinn Music Week I will be playing two concerts with very different sets—as different as some of these pieces are from one another—and having that in mind I’ve added two yet unreleased cirkl demos that represent those separate directions.”

For more festival-related goodness, check out our previous mixes in the series from Futuregrapher, Deep Shoq, Jazzpospolita, Julia Marcell, and Holy Motors. If you’re joining us in Estonia, you can start planning your festival schedule here.
