Cape Town-based indie pop group Honeymoan has shared their second EP, Body, and we are pleased to premiere it. Through four tracks the group distills jazz inflected harmonics, avant-garde electronics, jangle-pop, funk infused bass riffage, and massive pop hooks in a controlled form of chaos that recreates the surrender and surprise that is the essence of pop. Body comes hot on the heels of the release of their much acclaimed two-track debut EP </3 / We, from 2018. After that release, the group went through some lineup changes that lead to the addition of producer/bassist Josh Berry. The current lineup consists of singer, Alison Rachel, guitarist Skye MacInnes, bassist Josh Berry and drummer Kenan Tatt. Body was recorded at the home studio of bassist Josh Berry, then mastered by Greg Calbi of Sterling Sound.
