Tallinn Music Week begins next week and we still have a whole slate of artists to introduce. Meet Julia Marcell, a Berlin-based singer/songwriter with a taste for My Brightest Diamond, Warpaint, The Smiths and more. You can listen to her contribution to our mixtape series below. She calls it The Car Tape.

“Me and my band are on tour a lot lately and that means hours and hours spent in a car,” she cays of her song choices. “And it’s a perfect place to listen to some great music and get lost in it. That’s why I decided to make a car tape - a mixtape with some of my favorite songs - the dreamy, the relaxing, the ones with a drive.”

Bonus: Get to know more great Tallinn Music Week acts and revisit mixtapes from Futuregrapher, Deep Shoq, and Jazzpospolita. If you’re joining us in Estonia, you can start planning your festival schedule here.
