Denver based, self-dubbed “slop pop” group Kissing Party have shared their new video for single “A Little Star,” off of their forthcoming album Mom & Dad, and we are pleased to premiere it. The video follows a couple aimlessly adrift at a hotel and in a diner before culminating in one of the more surprising pizza deliveries on record. The woozy harmonies and indistinct vocals mirror the resignation and bittersweet surrender of a drifting romance. Check out the video, as well as the upcoming album art below.

Frontman Gregg Dolan had this to say about the video to Under the Radar in a statement: “I wanted to capture the hopelessness of being heartbroken/in love at the same time & the feeling of being inseparable but never together. It’s a modern day Bonnie & Clyde romance story set to slop pop.”

Mom & Dad will serve as the group’s first full-length release, and the inaugural release, through their own Kickstarter funded label BBYV. Prior to this release, the group had released their last EP in 2017 as a split with Bleak Plaza, their last with Hot Congress.
