Kookooo Kitchen is the work of take-no-prisoners artist/musician/vocalist Marianne Stranger. (Not familiar? Take a moment to check out her other project, Tomorrow We Move to Hawaii.) Here, she’s joined by equally rough and tumble musicians Gunnar Brøntveit, Kai Christoffersen, and Eva Randidatter. Their guitar-blessed rock gets down with the same dirt-covered sex appeal as Sonic Youth and Siouxsie and The Banshees. Given that, it totally makes sense that the single for their first single “We Took a Ride” features a couple engaged in some artful debauchery, right? Check out our premiere of the clip below.
