Lamb have shared their bucolic new video for their single “Moonshine,” off of their forthcoming album The Secret of Letting Go, and we are pleased to premiere it. The video, directed by Sadaf Javan and Richard Rock, features the duo singing around a mystical seeming wetland area with Cian Finn. The track itself features Finn as a guest vocalist and has a Celtic-jig rhythm of hand claps that undergird a heavily filtered bass and airy vocals. The Secret of Letting Go is due out April 26 via Cooking Vinyl. Check out the video, album tracklist, and info on their upcoming show below.

Lou Rhodes of the group had this to say about the making of the video: “We made the Moonshine video out in a secret location in Maharashtra, India. The song is about first sparks of love in a heart that had forgotten what that felt like and was very much inspired by being in that part of the world where the sickle moon lies on its back, instead of sitting up on its side as it does in the west. Somehow this aspect of the moon became a symbol of new beginnings and new love; the shimmering, tingling of endless potential. The moon really does shine differently out there!”

The Secret of Letting Go will be Lamb’s seventh studio album, and their second since returning from their hiatus in 2014 with Backspace Unwind. Written and recorded in the space of a year, The Secret of Letting Go was developed in a home-studio in England’s South Downs, India, and Ibiza. The title track to the album was written at a time when the band decided they were splitting up.
