Premiere: OOFJ Mixtape
Take a Walk Through Chartreuse Valley
Jun 24, 2013
OOFJ
The special Monday edition of our mixtape series is brought to you by Los Angeles-based duo, OOFJ. The pair traffic in moody, mysterious music, and their picks—ranging from Nico to Nosaj thing to Duke Ellington—reflect that fascination.
“We made this with the direct thought of something terrible-gorgeous,” says vocalist Katherine Mills Rymer of their contribution, entitled Chartreuse Valley. “Walking in green valleys with the wind at your back and your mind a-fury.”
Check out the mix below. OOFJ are featured in the June/July print issue of Under the Radar Magazine. Their debut album Disco to Die is out now via Fake Diamond and Clapyouclapme.
