Brooklyn-based indie rockers Plastic Picnic have shared their video for their new single, “After You,” off of their forthcoming sophomore EP, Vistalite, due out July 19. We have the premiere. The video features the group performing on a desolate but lustrous beach, while the track is all breezy synths, rubbery bass, and anthemic new wave hooks. Check out the video below.

On the making of the track, the group had this to say:“‘After You’ is upbeat and playful on the surface, but when you dig in there’s also a melancholy wistful streak. It’s a song about uncertainty, and we like how the visuals (a beautiful beach on a stormy day) help emphasize that in-between-space.”
