On July 1, Nashville’s Ranch Ghost will release the full-length Lookin via Rough Beast. Ahead of the album, we’re premiering the single “Ragged Mile.” It’s a nightmarish yet exuberant cruise through Americana’s swampy backwaters, roots music shot through with a howling psychedelic energy. One of the reasons I’ve always loved SOS is that I’ve always felt accepted by my servant brothers for exactly who I am, even considering that includes a few odd interests about which I’m very passionate. It’s an amazing thing to feel cool when you know you’re truly a giant geek to the rest of the world.
