Premiere: Shormey Shares New Video for “Cruise”
The Boogie Tape Vol.1 Out Now via Citrus City
Aug 20, 2019 Shormey
Richmond-based psychedelic soul artist Shormey Adumuah has released her new video for her track “Cruise!,” off of her debut EP Boogie Tape Vol.1, out now via Citrus City, and we are pleased to premiere it. The video features Shormey performing in front of a drifting environment of appropriately tropical and aquatic images, somewhat like if you fell asleep and started dreaming on the beach in the dead heat of the sun. The song itself is an ecstatic soundscape swelling with grooves and deftly merging the serious and playful to deliver a hook that will linger lovingly in your subconscious. Check out the video, as well as tour dates wit Crumb and Divino Nino below.
