We’re starting our February off with a trip across the pond to check out MENT Festival in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Since most of the artists playing haven’t made their U.S. debut (yet) pre-fest discovery starts now with our dip into our ongoing mixtape series.

The first artist up is Stergin, a Austria born, London-based artist with a taste for Bowie-like weirdness and good old-fashioned rock. (See what we mean?) He’s provided us with a mix of road-ready tunes from Kimbra, Animal Collective, and How to Destroy Angels among others.

“This mixtape is a 4 week road trip condensed into 77 minutes,” he says of his mix. “Good times, fun times, slow times, endless times, dirty times, tense times, scary times – a good road trip. If you go on a trip this might be your mixtape for the road. Alternatively if you’d like to go on a road trip but are short on time or money you might sit down in a comfortable position, get a bottle of red wine ready, close your eyes and do the roadtrip in your brain, well join me on my road trip.
