Today, we’re premiering the video for the title track from indie duo Stolen Jars’ 2015 album Kept. The clip, directed by Henry Chaisson and Travis Bogosian, perfectly compliments the song’s poignant exploration of aspirations and anxiety. Connecting via email, the band provided some context:

“Our friend Henry was co-directing a short film called “Theodora,” he sent us the script and we all agreed that it fit really well with the themes of “Kept.” The song is about trying to slow down and stop daydreaming, and the video is a daydream about slowing down, taking time, and spending the day making something for a friend. The short film is now making some rounds at festivals and we are super excited that Henry and everyone at Slater Hall shared this project with us.”
