Used Cassettes are a band of American, Canadian and South African expats who convened in Seoul to create loose, good-times garage rock. Today, we’re premiering “Ghost Stories,” a track that finds the band stretching out and stumbling into more vulnerable territory without sacrificing their easygoing swagger.

With its charismatically slurred vocals, soused romanticism and effortless guitar hooks, the track nods toward one of modern rock and roll’s pinnacles, Is This It (though Used Cassettes play it scuzzier than Casablancas and company).
