Prepare to add Hopscotch to the music festival list. Announced by The Independent Weekly, Hopscotch will have 120 bands in downtown Raleigh, North Carolina for three days, September 9 to 11. The lineup will include Panda Bear, Broken Social Scene, Public Enemy, The Love Language, No Age, Akron/Family, and Atlas Sound, to name but a few. The lineup brings together the Triangle’s rich music scene. “Several music festivals in the Triangle make it clear how strong the talent in North Carolina is, and they do it better and better each year,” says Grayson Currin, Music Editor of the Independent Weekly, in a press release. “We don’t want to replace that. Rather, we want to expand on it by showing that this area has the caliber of bands and listeners that can support a big music festival.”

Admission for Hopscotch Music Festival varies. Individual tickets for the shows in Raleigh City Plaza-on Friday, Sept. 10, featuring Panda Bear, Broken Social Scene and The Rosebuds; on Saturday, Sept. 11, featuring Public Enemy, No Age and The Love Language-cost $30 each. Fans can also buy a wristband for $45, which allows entry into all nine festival clubs throughout the three-day festival.

Some of the other bands playing include: Washed Out, Tortoise, Lucero, 9th Wonder, Marissa Nadler, Harvey Milk, Fucked Up, Javelin, Richard Buckner, Megafaun, Kylesa, Harlem, Best Coast, Cults, Collections of Colonies of Bees, Double Dagger, Future Islands, Bear in Heaven, and many others. Hi
I own stock in a company that is getting ready to emerge from bankruptcy, with a new stock symbol. Will my stock be converted into the new stock symbol or stay the old symbol? Will my current stock be worth the same price as newly issued common stock? What will happen to my shares?
