Fats Domino has died, reports both WWL-TV and the Associated Press. He was 89 and died of natural causes. The New Orleans native was born Antoine Domino Jr. in 1928 and was a rock ‘n’ roll pioneer who had various well known hit singles in the 1950s and 1960s, such as “Ain’t That a Shame,” “Blueberry Hill,” “I’m Walkin’,” “It’s You I Love,” “My Blue Heaven,” and “Whole Lotta Lovin’.” He was influential on such rock ‘n’ roll legends as Elvis Presley and The Beatles. Domino was one of the first 10 nominees to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and sold over 65 million records. Below are some of his songs.
