Radiohead’s Jonny Greenwood has announced the release plans for his new album, Junun. It’s a collaboration between Greenwood, Israeli composer Shye Ben Tzur, and Indian qawwali group The Rajasthan Express. Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich is also featured. The album is due out November 13 via Nonesuch.
As we previously reported, acclaimed director Paul Thomas Anderson (Boogie Nights, Magnolia) has also directed a documentary on the making of the album (Greenwood scored his last three films: There Will Be Blood, The Master, and Inherent Vice). Below is a clip from the documentary, which also serves as a video for the track “Roked,” which is featured in full in the clip. The full documentary is also streaming for 30 days on MUBI, starting today.
