Rosa Walton has released her new single “Halfway Round The World”, the second track taken from her forthcoming debut solo album Tell Me It’s A Dream, due on 5 June 2026 via Transgressive Records.

The track follows her earlier single “Sorry Anyway”.

The wide-eyed, heartfelt “Halfway Round The World” depicts the arc of a burgeoning relationship as a light weaving just above the ground. “A lot is to do with light. I view these songs as being on a high-up plain,” Walton says. “My reality a lot of the time is of walking around with my head in the clouds so that, to me, is normal.”

Tell Me It’s A Dream was first developed during lockdown sessions with Sam E Yamaha, and Walton later revisited and reshaped the material. The album is co-produced with David Wrench and features contributions from John Victor, Kam Khan, Elena Costa and Jenny Hollingworth.

Walton first came to prominence as one half of Let’s Eat Grandma before pursuing solo work alongside the project. She also wrote “I Really Want To Stay At Your House” for Cyberpunk 2077.

“Tell Me It’s A Dream is about being ambitious and seeing enhanced beauty in the world,” Walton says of the album. “It’s about striving for ultimate freedom. A lot of the attitude in these songs is about following your dreams - and that’s exactly what I intend to do.”
