Portland songwriter Scout Niblett will be taking her newest record The Calcination of Scout Niblett on the road again this Fall. Calcination, released on Drag City back in January, exhibits all the hallmarks of this divisive artist - the shrill, Cobain-esque caterwaul, sludgy guitar riffs, and a propulsive, raw drum sound that’s a trademark of its producer Steve Albini. All these qualities are intensified when you see Niblett live, and she’s quite a charismatic performer to boot. We have her full tour itinerary below.
