Search Results Share New Single “Wrinkle”

And Announce UK Tour

rish duo Search Results return with their new single “Wrinkle,” a discombobulating burst of ideas that barely scrapes the two-minute mark. Accompanied by a tongue-in-cheek video paying homage to stock photography, the track continues the band’s knack for balancing sharp wit with equally sharp songwriting.

“The Tupperware-inspired stadium rock anthem many Search Results gig attendees will recognise, please,” quips John Paul Condon, capturing the band’s offbeat humor. Fionn Tashi Raftery Brennan adds, “Sometimes lunch comes in a box. Sometimes a bag. This time it’s in a song.”

The video for Wrinkle leans into the absurdity, recreating classic office stock photography with an unsettling degree of accuracy. Director Daniel Martin explains: “I’ve long wanted to recreate office stock photos. I knew I’d achieve it one day, but I was deathly afraid some huge pop star would do it first. The point of stock photos is to fit all office-based scenarios across the globe, and unlike the imagery in the entertainment business, they expressly exist to not draw attention to themselves. There is great dignity in this for a band, and even more so for Search Results. My only regret is that the video cost €9.5K to make.”

The duo—Condon and Brennan—have developed a near-telepathic connection both on and off stage, their chemistry as compelling as their music. In support of Wrinkle, Search Results will embark on a UK tour this May, including a stop at The Great Escape Festival.
