Essex/London-based quartet She’s In Parties return with their spellbinding new single “Are You Dreaming?”, released via Submarine Cat. The track also heralds the announcement of the vinyl release of their forthcoming EP of the same name, Are You Dreaming, due out on November 7.

“Are You Dreaming” delves into the blurred line between waking life and the subconscious. “This song is all about being unable to differentiate your dreams from reality,” explains lead vocalist and songwriter Katie Dillon. “Whenever I’m stressed or feel like I’m losing control of my life, I tend to dream more and they are a lot more intense. When I first made the move to London, I felt like I lost a lot of control over aspects of my life and during this time my dreams were extremely vivid and from that, this song was born.”

Fronted by Irish-born Dillon alongside Herbie Wiseman (lead guitar), Charlie Johnson (bass), and Matt Carman (drums), She’s In Parties have become known for their hazy, ethereal blend of indie rock and dream-pop. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Cocteau Twins, Tears for Fears, and The Cure, the band channels a sense of nostalgia without ever feeling derivative.

Since the release of their debut EP End Scene in 2023, She’s In Parties have quickly established themselves as one of the UK’s most captivating new acts, weaving shoegaze textures, indie-pop hooks, and grunge-tinged energy into something that feels both familiar and entirely their own.
