Soccer Mommy is the project of 20-year-old Nashville native Sophie Allison. She got some buzz last year with some singles and bedroom recordings (which were compiled on Collection) and on earlier this month she released her debut full-length album, Clean, via Fat Possum. Previously “Cool” was one of our Songs of the Week and now the song has a video. Ambar Navarro directed the video, with animation by Grace Miceli (aka Art Baby Girl). In it the band go back to school, among other things. Watch it below, followed by her upcoming tour dates.

Clean was recorded in a studio with a full band and was produced by Gabe Wax (The War on Drugs, Deerhunter, Beirut) and mixed by Ali Chant (Perfume Genius, PJ Harvey).
