Stars Share Kevin Drew-Produced New Song “Are You With Me?”
Single Out Tomorrow via Last Gang

Montreal indie-pop heroes Stars released a new album, There Is No Love In Fluorescent Light, in October 2017 via Last Gang. Back in March they shared brand new single, “Ship to Shore” (which was one of our Songs of the Week) and in June they shared a lyric video for another new song, “One Day Left.” Now they have returned with another standalone single, “Are You With Me?” Kevin Drew of fellow Canadians Broken Social Scene (who Stars’ Amy Millan often sings with) produced the song. The single is out tomorrow via Last Gang, but you can listen to it below, followed by the band’s upcoming tour dates.
Drew had this to say about the song in a press release: “My favorite Stars songs are the graveyard tunes. They are exceptional at capturing the drama and reality of losing someone while trying to save them at the same time. It was an honor to finally work with them.”
Stars collectively had this to say: “To work on a song with Kevin Drew reminded us all of what a beautiful person and brave artist he is, and why someone like Gord Downie trusted him to interpret his last music. Speaking of Gord, the words to this song came about after Torq spent one liquidy night sending text messages to Gord’s old cell phone number. It’s very difficult not to miss that guy, and sometimes you just want to send a message into the ether and hope he receives it. We’ve always used songs to communicate with ghosts. If you can think of a better method, let us know. We have a lot of ghosts we want to talk to…”

If you would like to access MS Word on Mac, but it keeps crashing within the background, then consider opening it within the Safe Mode. Unlike Windows, you can’t launch a fanatical application on Safe Mode. Instead, you would like else the whole system during a safe mode. to try to to this, restart your Mac or turn it on. As Mac would start, press and hold the Shift key else it in Safe Mode. Log-in to your user account and check out launching MS Word thereon again. you’ll troubleshoot various components of Microsoft Word by resetting or deleting its preference file. aside from solving the Word not responding on the Mac issue, it also can fix the Word crashing problem or certain features not working. Resetting preference isn’t the last word solution for all Word problem, thus don’t perform this operation too often.A lot of individuals don’t realize, but sometimes, the matter might be together with your Mac and not the Word application. as an example , if the disk where MS Word installed is corrupt, then you’ll use its native feature – Disk Utility. Just attend Finder > Applications > Utility and launch the Disk Utility component. Select the drive where MS Word is installed on the left panel and click on on the “First Aid” option on the toolbar. Confirm your choice and run the disk repairing operations to repair Mac’s storage.
