Next week Cults’ Madeline Follin and Brian Oblivion return with their latest collection of ‘60s girl-group inspired pop with their sophomore LP Static. The follow-up to the band’s 2011 self-titled debut, the new record came together in the wake of the duo’s romantic relationship coming to an end. Ahead of its scheduled release on Oct. 15, the album is available to stream in its entirety on NPR. Other upcoming albums are also available to stream online, including Cass McCombs forthcoming double album Big Wheel and Others (out Oct. 15), The Dismemberment Plan‘s Uncanny Valley (out Oct. 15), and Tim Hecker’s Virgins (out Oct. 14)
