Indie soul singer Mayer Hawthorne’s new record Where Does This Door Go is due for release next week, but you can stream the whole album over at NPR right now. Hawthorne’s third full-length album, Where Does This Door Go is already receiving a lot of hype as the follow up to How Do You Do, Hawthorne’s well-received 2011 LP.
The Michigan native has infused his Motown roots into his unique neo-soul style, earning praise from the likes of Justin Timberlake, Kanye West, and Snoop Dogg. The new album features guest vocals from Jessie Ware on “Her Favorite Song” and production work from Pharrell Williams, among others.
