Summer Camp Ask Fans To Name Their Second Album
Let the Brainstorming Begin
Jan 08, 2013 Summer Camp
Hard at working in the studio finishing up their second album, London pop duo Summer Camp have turned to their fans in a plea to help them name the record.
Writing on her blog, singer Elizabeth Sankey wrote: “It needs to be a sentence, because if our EP’s are one word, then our albums are sentences. Or statements. But it’s very hard to have a statement that you can say without hearing it twisted into a negative review ... So I need your help. Ideas for album titles. I know I shouldn’t be thinking about this, or what journalists should say. But guys, I used to write those reviews. I can’t see an album title without trying to twist it into something evil.”

That’s been one of my mantras - focus and simplicity. Simple can be harder than complex: You have to work hard to get your thinking clean to make it simple.
