With their new album due out later this month, Canadian sister act Tegan and Sara have announced a U.S. tour to follow in February 2010. Sainthood, which comes out October 27th, was recorded in Van Nuys, CA and co-produced by Chris Walla and Howard Redekopp (producer of So Jealous). This will be their sixth studio album to date, and the first single is already available for digital download from all digital providers and can be streamed on the band’s official site.

As UTR previously reported right here, four special U.S. dates surrounding the album’s release will now join a full 2010 tour. Another Los Angeles date has also been added on October 26th.
