Tegan and Sara to Reissue “So Jealous”
Marking Album's Ten Year Anniversary
Sep 15, 2014 Tegan and Sara
Tegan and Sara have announced a forthcoming reissue of their 2004 album So Jealous, marking the tenth anniversary of the LP. Featuring unreleased demos, b-sides, remixes, and covers the new edition will be titled So Jealous X. Writing a message on their website the Quin sisters say, “[So Jealous] was without a doubt a huge turning point in our career, and a big part of how we got where we are today. We can’t let something like this pass by uncelebrated!”
In addition to the music the duo reveal that “we have been working on a book that looks back on the making of So Jealous, and the years that followed of touring and promotion, and how it made such a big impact on us and our fans at the time ... we’ve been emptying shoe boxes full of photos, digging out weird internet caches and bugging everyone who was involved to share their memories of So Jealous, so we can share it all with you.”
Pre-orders for the reissue will begin in December on Tegan and Sara’s website.
