As one of the most well-known icons to bridge to the tastes of music and comedy together it’s only fitting that Tenacious D - a.k.a. Jack Black and Kyle Gass - have curatedf their own multi-talented comedy/rock gathering, the Festival Supreme.

Taking place on the Santa Monica Pier in Santa Monica on Oct. 19 the event will feature performances by Tenacious D themselves, as well as Reggie Watts, Zach Galifianakis, Adam Sandler, Sarah Silverman, Fred Armisen, Tig Nortaro, the Mr. Show Experience, Garfunkel and Oates, Demetri Martin, and Triumph the Insult Comic Dog. Tickets are scheduled to go on sale this Wednesday. Hopefully if this becomes a regular thing, one would hope other big acts such as Flight of the Conchords or even Weird ‘Al’ would be brought on to attend.
