Last year, smoky-voiced, alt-folk-pop songstress Thao paired up with brooding singer-songwriter Mirah for an unique joint tour that saw the pair onstage together for nearly two hours, playing each other’s music with fresh and wonderfully full arrangements (with the help of Thao’s back-up musicians, The Get Down Stay Down). It must have worked out well, for the talented ladies, while very different in style, have teamed up for Thao & Mirah, their new collaborative effort out April 26 on Kill Rock Stars. And the songstresses are going back on the road, again—but with new material.

Earlier this month, we reported the dates for Thao & Mirah‘s West Coast tour, which kicks off May 1 in Los Angeles. Luckily, the songstresses have decided to head east, announcing today a new batch of tour dates that brings the pair to such major cities as Chicago, Philadelphia, and Atlanta. Check out below for the full run of shows from Thao & Mirah.

And hopefully, they’ll bring back the trivia Q&A between sets—winners get a Corona, or the beer of choice at the venue.
