The Afghan Whigs Release “Lovecrimes”

Beginning at noon EST today, The Afghan Whigs have announced that they will release a cover of “Lovecrimes” as a free download on their website.

Originally released by Frank Ocean in 2011 on his debut mixtape, Nostalgia, Ultra, the song has become a regular fixture on The Afghan Whigs’ live set since their reformation earlier this year. This will be only the second new recording by the band since the release of their cover of “See and Don’t See” back in May.

In addition to the new song The Afghan Whigs have also announced the six new shows set to take place in North America, including visits to Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Portland, Boston, and Philadelphia. You can view the fully updated schedule below.
