Canadian alt-inide rock band, The Beaches, are making waves once again with their latest single, “Takes One To Know One”. Released through AWAL, this vibrant track serves as a summer anthem, showcasing the band’s signature blend of playful energy and raw honesty.

With an infectious guitar riff and a pulsating beat, “Takes One To Know One” delves into the complexities of a budding relationship, exploring the thrill and vulnerability of falling for someone who challenges you to confront your own flaws.

Lead singer, Jordan Miller, shares insight into the song’s inspiration, stating, “Recently I’ve had the pleasure of falling in love with a very complicated person. This song - takes one to know one - is about exploring my own culpability in the messy parts of my new relationship, something I wasn’t really capable of doing until now.”

The release of “Takes One To Know One” follows a string of successes for The Beaches, including a sold-out North American tour and collaborations with notable artists
