Leading up to the April 2 release of their forthocoming new album The Terror The Flaming Lips have confirmed their upcoming appearance at this year’s SXSW Festival in Austin with a pair of performances. In addition to the shows the Lips will premiere their very own film at the Alamo Ritz Theater, a mystery work called A Year in the Life of Wayne’s Phone, which as the title would suggest was shot entirely on frontman Wayne Coyne’s iPhone.
