The Futureheads Announce First U.S. Tour in Four Years

The Futureheads will be touring the U.S. this summer in support of their upcoming fourth album, The Chaos, to be released June 1st on NYC-based Dovecote Records. The tour, which is their first in four years, kicks off on release day at the Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn. They will wrap up the East Coast shows June 12th at Lincoln Hall in Chicago. West Coast tour dates will be announced in the coming weeks.

Following high profile tours with Pixies and Foo Fighters, the Sunderland, U.K. Natives went back to the studio to record 11 tracks for The Chaos. Pre-order a copy of The Chaos at the band’s official website here and enter for a chance to win a one-of-a-kind Futureheads iPad.

An early iteration of the landscape view of the NPR home screen. It is an interesting peek into the design process for NPR’s iPad app. Multi-touch input and a large screen make collaborative design a killer the inputs and outputs on an iPad in a visual and iterative way.
