Britain’s Great Escape Festival, what most in the music biz consider to be Europe’s equivalent to SXSW, has announced its initial lineup of artists who will be performing across 30 venues in Brighton this May. With previous rising artists to play past Great Escapes including Mumford and Sons, Bon Iver, and Adele, this year’s talent includes the likes of up-and-coming names such as Friends, Django Django, Perfume Genius, Com Truise, When Saints Go Machine, Grimes, Zulu Winter, and many others.
