The Sharp Things Announce New Album Series, “Dogs of Bushwick”
First Installment Green Is Good Out Feb. 26
Nov 21, 2012 The Sharp Things
Veteran NYC orchestral-pop band The Sharp Things have announced the release of a multi-part album series called Dogs of Bushwick, rolling out its first installment Green Is Good on Feb. 26. Recorded over a three-year period at guitarist Jim Santo and bassist James Pertusi’s Brooklyn recording studio, The Kennel, the band turned out so much music that the output exceeded their entire three-album back catalog.
“In the 15 years this band’s been together, I could say that I’ve never actually written anything expressly for it,” says frontman Perry Serpa. “I just write what I write and we, as a band, have always just adapted to what comes out.”
Down below you can listen to Green Is Good track “It’s Alright.”
