Portland-based band The Thermals have new a’ plenty. On April 16 they’ll be releasing their new album Desperate Ground via Saddle Creek. Their first release for the label, Desperate Ground was produced by John Agnello (Dinosaur Jr, Sonic Youth) and (as the press release claims) is, “a black celebration of the inevitability of war and death.”
