Thurston Moore Announces New Album “The Best Day”
Due Out Oct 21 on Matador
Aug 20, 2014 Thurston Moore
On Oct 21 Thurston Moore will release his new solo album The Best Day via Matador. Judging by the first single, we’re looking a something a bit more rocking than his melancholy-infused sophomore solo release, Demolished Thoughts. Fun fact: The Thurston Moore Band (a.k.a. Steve Shelly, My Bloody Valentine bassist Deb Googe, and Nought guitarist James Sewards) are playing all the backing bits. Take a listen to the title track below.
Tracklist:
1. Speak To The Wild
2. Forevermore
3. Tape
4. The Best Day
5. Detonation
6. Vocabularies
7. Grace Lake
8. Germs Burn
