U.S. Premiere: Snasen – “Failing Upwards”
Failing Upwards EP Out February 15 Via Sellout! Music
Jan 28, 2013 Snasen
Norwegian producer Snasen is a glitchy maestro with a hardcore past. Although “Failing Upwards” (the title cut from his forthcoming EP, due out February 15) is less about headbanging and more about living in your head.
“I try to work with contrasts and dynamics,” says Snasen via press release. “Big versus small, wet versus dry, slow versus fast. I want the sounds and rhythms to work both with and against each other. Preferably at the same time.”
We’re pleased to host the U.S. premiere. Check it out below. Like what you hear? A debut full-length is due out later this year.
