Vivian Girls Call it a Day
“The time has finally come to let our band rest in peace”
Jan 22, 2014 Vivian Girls
Sad news garage fans, Vivian Girls have called it a day. As announced today via the band’s Facebook, the split is amicable, but after seven years, “the time has finally come to let our band rest in peace.” (Read the full goodbye letter here.)
But the first ladies of fuzz aren’t going out without a blaze of glory. The trio are planning two last shows, one in Los Angeles and one in New York. The Los Angeles date will go down on Feb 14 (tickets can be snagged here). The New York show will be announced shortly.
