Vivian Girls unleashed a new video for new single, “I Heard You Say.” What starts out as a super cute hang-out (Hey look, our dresses match the bedspread!) turns into something much darker. But hey, you know what they say, bands who dress together, stay together.

Vivian Girls!!! I LOVE THEM!! I do not believe they are as appreciated as they should be. The songwriting is exceptional. Heartbreaking, hopeful, despairing, romantic, surprising, intense. I see them as the audio equivalent of a Jackson Pollack meets Edvard Munch as birthed by the Shangri-las after they have gone hardcore punk. Cassie Ramone has the most incredible haunting voice and her guitar playing is one of a kind. Their new album “Share the Joy” is a masterpiece!
