Andrew Bird
Andrew Bird has been doing a series of shows from his living room called “Live From the Great Room” that he’s been posting to his Facebook page. The latest installment features Fiona Apple, who guested on “Left Handed Kisses” on Bird’s most recent album, Are You Serious, which came out in April via Loma Vista. Bird plays violin and sings and Apple sings. The duo performed Apple’s “Werewolf” from her 2012 album The Idler Wheel…, Bird’s “Why?” from his 2001 album The Swimming Hour, the new song “Railroad Sam and Slingshot Sue,” the standard “(I’d Like to Get You on a) Slow Boat to China,” and a cover of Bob Dylan’s “Oh, Sister” (from 1976’s Desire). “Railroad Sam and Slingshot Sue” was written in collaboration with a 5-year-old named Sam. Watch the full performance below.

These people are indeed so talented. It is such a shame to the music industry that no one is actually giving an opportunity for these people to take out their full caliber to the public. But they have found themselves a way to showcase their talent.
