Arca released a new, self-titled, album last week via XL. Previously he had shared its first single, “Piel,” and videos for “Anoche” and “Reverie,” along with the audio for “Saunter.” Now he has shared a video for “Desafío.” It finds him lying on the ground, clad in a leather straight jacket, as air raid sirens are going off. He is then carried into the woods by some men. Regular Arca collaborator Jesse Kanda directs. Watch it below.

Arca is his third album and the first one where the Venezuela-born, London-based artist’s voice is front and center. Arca had this to say about the album in a previous press release: “Here’s my voice and all my guts: feel free to judge it. It’s like a bullfight: you’re watching emotional violence for pleasure. So this is a character who, almost as a mockery of the transaction, goes uncomfortably deep, into self-mutilation. ‘You want gore? Here’s gore’”
