Watch: Ariel Pink Play a Taxi Driver in “Vagabond” Video
One Night in Los Angeles
Jan 21, 2015 Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti
Sure, Ariel Pink has played provocateur more in this album promotional cycle than ever thought possible. But director Johann Rashid’s short film Vagabond gives the musician another role—taxi driver. Joining him is Haunted Graffiti band mate Tim Koh and Friends’ Samantha Urbani, who plays a lover-starved prostitute. Watch the unlikely meeting below. The film will be screened at the Melbourne-based festival Sugar Mountain. Pink’s new album Pom Pom is out now on 4AD.
