Watch Cool New Animated Trailer for “The X-Files” Miniseries

The X-Files is returning to TV on January 24, 2016 with a six-episode event series on FOX starring David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson as Fox Mulder and Dana Scully. Last night during Gotham FOX debuted a new trailer for the show’s return, but with a twist, it’s animated. Don’t worry, in January you’ll still be getting a flesh and blood Mulder and Scully. And while this new trailer obviously doesn’t reveal much, it’s certainly cool to look at. It seems to have been inspired in part by the work of Saul Bass, the famous film poster and opening titles designer. Perhaps an X-Files animated series wouldn’t be a terrible idea at some point?
